Martyn Wright is one of those musicians who truly can be said to be influenced by God and the Journey of life.
From a young man his Father played classical music, loved poetry and books, his Mother loved nature and the garden and held their family together. While his brother liked Jazz , Rock and anything sophisticated and inspiring. Along with films on many subjects it made Martyn think hard about the important things in life.
Martyn's first ever musical instrument was at eight. A Didgeridoo, at first made of a rubber hose, until he finally drove his mother mad enough to buy him a real one.
At age 21, after years of Wildlife doco's on the TV all of these influences crystallized with Martyn having Saxophone lessons for eight years, ending in him graduating from the Australian Institute of Music, with an Advanced Diploma in Music performance.
At the Institute, his interest in song writing grew 'til in 2008 he approached Terry Halliday at Terry Halliday Productions not knowing what the reaction would be when he showed Terry his Eclectic Jazz Rock Songs.
Terry took on the Job and like a Master Alchemist , added his Wonder touch, first adding his amazing Jaw dropping guitar and vocal combo with the wonderful song bird voice of Cindy Appleton and the spiritual Heart Felt Rainbow Cry Filled with a love of god and the universe Saxophone playing of Martyn Wright.
An album the result of Faith, Love and Hope two great friends and theirs and 20 Years of Saxophone Playing as a Way of Life. With the magnific art work of Brooke Webb who took a still shot from the Soul.
